8/14/03- Where Were You When The Lights Went Out?
It was my very last day as an RA in college. I was reading a book, bored out of my mind, when my sister called from Atlanta asking, “Are your lights out?” I tried the light, then the tv, and said, “Yes, how did you know?” She said, “Because the entire Eastern Seaboard apparently is without electricity!”
The college didn’t want to handle a bunch of idiots on a campus without electricity, so they put us up in a hotel for the night. It was pretty sweet.
